Logitech South Africa has introduced the new Logitech Wireless Combo MK520 which includes a full size wireless mouse and keyboard.

Logitech has always been known for quality peripherals, and this seems no different with the MK520. The keyboard features an ergonomic concave design with low-profile keys that ensures quick typing, while the mouse features a contoured design, ensuring both left and right handed users will feel at home.

Both these devices are of course wireless, and the communication between them and your PC is handled by Logitech’s Unifying receiver. This minuscule receiver features 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity with a range of up to 10 metres. The receiver includes a 128-bit AES keyboard encryption to help keep your information safe from keyloggers.

The combo is suitable to use with either a desktop or laptop, with Logitech placing special emphasis on laptop functionality. “When you’re using a laptop, the Logitech Wireless Combo can make everything you do on your computer more comfortable,” said Leslie Smyth, sales and marketing manager of Logitech South Africa. “The MK520 keyboard and mouse combo is designed to feel good hour after hour.”

The keyboard design features Logitech’s low-profile Incurve keys which places users’ fingers in the perfect position for quickly dashing across the keyboard. It also sports one-touch media controls so users can mute, stop, skip and play songs without having to revert to the mouse. The keyboard has a three year battery life.

The Logitech MK520 combo is expected to be available in South Africa from the beginning of October and will sell for a suggested retail price of R569.91.
