Nintendo’s official E3 unveiling of the successor to its popular DS portable console might only be a couple of days off, but it appears that a Chinese blog has beaten it to the punch by posting early specifications of the 3DS.

According to Wired details of what the blogger claims to be the Nintendo 3DS have been posted. Some of these details include that the bottom screen of the new console is the same size as the current Nintendo DS, whilst the display at the top is a lot bigger and 3D capable. Gaming news site Kotaku stated that the details come from someone who claims to have access to the 3DS development kit. They also state that the 3DS is likely to include cameras and a tilt sensor or accelerometer.

Kotaku translated the blogger’s posts including, “The effect of the [3D] screen is amazing”. We will just have to wait for Nintendo’s official reveal to see if we concur.
