Nokia has announced that its second Symbian^3 powered phone to follow the N8, the C7, has started shipping.
 
This sleek (117.3 x 56.8 x 10.5 mm) device weighs in at 130 g and sports a 3.5" AMOLED capacitive touch-screen (640 x 360 pixels). It also boasts Bluetooth 3.0, an 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash with which users can record HD-ready (720p) video, as well as 8 GB of internal memory, which can be upgraded to 40 GB by employing microSD card up to 32 GB in size. 
 
“The Nokia C7 is our second smartphone based on the new version of Symbian to hit the market,” says Jo Harlow, head of smartphones at Nokia.
 
“Designed specifically with the style-conscious consumer in mind, the Nokia C7 also brings excellent social networking abilities, making it perfect for people who want to check-in and stay up to date.”
 
This phone will carry an estimated retail price of €335 (around R3 210), but local pricing and availability info hasn’t been released yet.
