Good news for BlackBerry fanboys. Research in Motion (RIM), the Canadian based company that manufactures BlackBerry phones, has been given the title of the world’s fastest growing firm. This according to business magazine Fortune who released their annual list of the world’s 100 fastest-growing firms.

RIM’s recent US success with the BlackBerry Curve has helped the company top the list. According the Fortune, “RIM\'s three-year average earnings-per-share growth is 84%; annualized revenue growth in that time is 77%; and its shares have a three-year annualized total return of 45%.”

Second on their list is Californian chipmaker Sigma Designs, while Chinese Internet company Sohu.com, who owns a popular search engine and gaming site, comes in at number three.
