Samsung has announced its ‘3D Pros’ video campaign, created to bring consumers up to speed on 3D technology and Samsung’s efforts to bring new entertainment experiences to the home.
The campaign features five 3D industry experts, or ‘Pros’, who will provide content and context and share the latest news around the 3D TV experience. The line-up includes executives from DreamWorks Animation, ESPN and the independent game development solution Wild Pockets, as well as movie production teams involved in the development of top box office 3D movies like “Avatar,” “Shark Night” and “Final Destination 3D.”
The campaign, which will run to January 2011, will target global consumers through a variety of social media outlets such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. Throughout the campaign consumers will be offered access to exclusive 3D content, the latest news about 3D technology and more.
“The benefits of 3D TV technology for consumers are immense and as a leader in the space, it is Samsung’s responsibility to help inform consumers,” said Sue Shim, senior vice president of marketing group, Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics.
