Vodacom Business has announced a new package deal aimed at small business ventures, start-ups or home-based offices, consultants and students, giving them all the business connectivity tools they’ll require.

This package is called the X-press Office On-the-Go and consist of an HP 620 notebook operating on Windows 7 Professional, Office 2010 Home & Business (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote), an HP Printer, Vodacom 3G data modem plus SIM, as well as an HTC Trophy Windows 7 smartphone.

The HTC Trophy will come with a Vodacom Smart Talk 120 tariff plan, which includes 120 voice minutes, 100 SMSs and 250 MB of data per month. All the voice and data monthly bundles may also be extended or topped up.

Customers will also have access to their own private domain name service for example me@mybusiness.co.za, a 2 GB mailbox with up to ten different aliases that is hosted with Vodacom Business, as well as an onsite support voucher.

“We looked at what was needed for new or existing businesses, consultants or entrepreneurs to set up their own professional-standard office, or what families would like in terms of setting up a connected learning station for their kids - or even for themselves,” said Gabi Strijp, executive head, Mobile Solutions at Vodacom Business.

“We identified the need for an affordable, single, but complete, solution that would not only provide an instant workstation, but also satisfy the email and connectivity requirements of a small or home office to bring today’s convergence solutions and leading edge technology within their reach,” Strijp continued.

Vodacom’s X-press Office On-the-Go package is available for R999 (incl. VAT) per month on a standard 24 month Vodacom contract and can be delivered (usually within 24 hours) to a customer’s home or business. For more info phone 082-1950 for more info or to order the X-press Office On-the-Go.
