The Divoom IBASE-II is a portable, battery powered iPod speaker that includes a radio and remote control. The IBASE II also includes a clock with alarm, equaliser and FM presets.

The package includes dock inserts to accommodate the full range of iPods and the IBASE also has a ¼" auxiliary input jack that is useful for connecting any other portable sound source. This speaker is a decent size for portability and sound quality is more than acceptable.

Seven buttons on top of the speaker provide basic functionality, but you’ll need the remote to navigate your iPod and use any of the IBASE’s features. It has to be said that the remote is not well laid out, and navigation can be frustrating. When operating on battery power it has a notable drop in volume after only a few hours of use.

The IBase-II has an RRP of R849. Call Comstar Technologies on 011-314- 5812 for more info.
