If you're unfamiliar with Adult Swim's meta animated series Rick and Morty, we highly advise that you start binge watching the first two seasons. The third one is hotly anticipated and is set to arrive in the middle of this year. Fans of the series, however, still need some respite from the limbo of waiting, which is where Adult Swim Australia's YouTube page comes into play.

They recently released a teaser video for the opening of season three, but in usual Rick and Morty fashion, it was actually a trolling video that paid homage to Rickrolling. To that end, characters from Rick and Morty are spliced together saying lyrics from Rick Astley's immortal hit Never Gonna Give You Up.

As such, it's the perfect effort in trolling, and actually makes us want to watch season three even more now. Hit play on the video below to enjoy. We've also thrown in the Astley original too.
