The Bluths are back. Well, almost. After a so-so fourth season aired on Netflix in 2013, it seems like a fifth season of Arrested Development is on track, but for when we don’t know. Speaking to TheWrap, executive producer Brian Grazer noted that, “All of the actors have agreed to do it and I think they’ve agreed to their compensation structure. That’s been the hardest–it’s all hard…But it should be happening soon.”

Finding time to schedule filming for the ensemble cast is yet another problem, with Jason Bateman (Office Christmas Party, Horrible Bosses), Will Arnett (BoJack Horseman, Flaked) and Jeffrey Tambor (Transparent) constantly busy with new projects.

There was talk of the season kicking off filming at the start of January 2017, but this didn’t happen. However, we would prefer them not to rush it, with some holding scheduling conflicts responsible for the change in style of the fourth season.
