After the insane success of its viral YouTube video which has garnered a cult following usually reserved up-and-coming teen idols, Swedish Indie game developer, Coffee Stain Studios, has announced that Goat Simulator will be making its way to Steam in March 2014.

The premise of the game is quite simple, the concept however, might definitely be the result of a The Hangover-type weekend. Gamers will be able to assume the role of, you guessed it, a goat, whose sole purpose is to destroy everything in its path. The aforementioned viral trailer for the game shows the users goat bouncing incredibly high off trampolines and buildings, as well as having the ability to ‘handle’ certain objects with its tongue, such as axes and lawn chairs.

Goat Simulator is currently available for pre-order on the game’s website for $9.99, which will allow users to redeem an e-mailed Steam key, three days prior to the yet-to-be-disclosed release date.

Coffee Stain Studios are well aware that this game has little tangible value, instead it allows one to envisionage what the world would be like if Tony Hawk Pro Skater met GTA and bleating goats.

We cannot wait to get our hands on this title and bring some chaos to peaceful suburbia.
