No Man's Sky has been out for a week now, and the gaming community cannot get enough. That said, the game's debut has been hampered slightly with by a few issues. One of the first was the substantial 2.6 GB download file that accompanied the game. Now Sean Murray, head at No Man's Sky developer Hello Games, has highlighted a few more issues that the company is aware of and hoping to address in the coming days.

To be fair, given the size and scope of the game, as well as the fact that it comes from a small developer, there were bound to be a few snags here and there. Part of the reason for these issues, including crashes and several bugs, is the unanticipated length of average gaming sessions, according to Murray. As such, he notes that the Hello Games team "are working quickly to adapt."

Murray states that his team has expanded in order to address the reported issues from gamers, with a patch soon on its way. In the meantime, however, he has offered a few workarounds to tide No Man's Sky gamers over in the interim.

"Here are some workarounds for some known issues:

  • If you believe you are stuck, or can’t reach your ship, be aware you can jetpack forever whilst pushing against any surface

  • If you have made a mistake – you can revert to any of your two previous saves in the Options Menu

  • If you have left your ship somewhere inaccessible, you will be able to summon it from landing pads or beacons found at most buildings or points of interest (marked by question marks)."

Despite all the issues currently being experienced, it appears that No Man's Sky is proving no less popular, with Murray tweeting about more than a million discoveries being made an hour.
