Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There was Lewis Carroll’s sequel to the widely popular Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. The follow-up movie luckily spares us the long winded title, simply settling on Alice Through the Looking Glass, popping out on 30 May 2016 Stateside.

Although producing the film, Tim Burton isn’t at the helm this time round, with the directorial chair filled by James Bobin, who did a spiffy job on Muppets Most Wanted and The Muppets. Alice (Mia Wasikowska) returns to Wonderland only to find that something dreadful has happened to it, and sets about finding Time (played by Borat, or rather Sacha Baron Cohen) to turn it all around.

The movie looks like yet another visual feast, building on the world created in the 2010 original. As hoped for, a number of cast members have returned, including Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Alan Rickman as the Blue Caterpillar and Helena Bonham Carter as the bobble headed Red Queen.
