One way to get some free playtime in without spending a penny is by downloading trials. Joining Destiny 2 in this regard is Injustice 2 on PS4 and Xbox One. Although the game is from earlier this year, it’s still good deal of fun, and scored a solid 8 in our review. It is also a terrific way to work out your end of year frustrations without actually being charged for assault.

The trial, which weights in at about 30 GB, enables players to experience every facet of the game including Chapters 1 through 3 of Story Mode. As well, players can dip into all multiplayer and online modes, and step into the shoes (or cloaks as the case may be) of the full roster of the game’s base characters, with the exception of Brainiac.

Players will also be able to have a taste of some of the DLC, with select DLC characters available to try out in the single player Multiverse mode. As with every trial, it is meant to tempt you into purchasing the full game. On the plus side, in case you are worried about your wallet taking too much of a beating during the holiday season, the full version of Injustice 2 has currently been discounted to R495. The only rub here is that you have to act fast – the trial is available until 18 December, and the discount is only in effect during that time.
