Forget Chewie, forget Han, Princess Leia or Luke. R2-D2 is the business, so that’s why were saving up for these awesome high-top sneakers from Po-Zu.

The new R2-D2 sneaker is the latest in the range of co-branded Star Wars footwear to be released by ethical shoe brand, Po-Zu, under license (of course) by Lucasfilm and Disney. The sneakers are made with organic cotton canvas upper, a coconut husk foot mattress that shapes to your foot, and Fair Trade rubber soles. It features the blue, grey and white styling associated with the R2 series astromech droid, complete with a Star Wars tag on the tongue.

How much for this droid? $91 on pre-order with shipping only happening in August, coming from the UK.

For those with a love of the smuggler, Po-Zu also manufactures Han Solo sneakers, while a pair of Porg sneakers might be worthwhile for those with an affinity for these cute creatures from Ahch-To. Our final choice might just lie with the limited-Edition High-Top Bronze Resistance sneakers, going for a cool $165.
