The first official trailer for Stranger Things 3 has just dropped, and it seems gone are the days of kids being kids, with the gang now having to deal with the highs and lows of teenage life. It’s the summer of ’85 and the mall and swimming pool of Hawkins, Indiana is the place to be. However, for a bunch of friends who has just recently battled against the Demogorgon and Mind Flayer, things are not all summer loving.

In the trailer below we get to see not only most of the old faces, but also Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and the gang not only encountering a new saliva spewing flesh/snot monster, but also an assassin of some sort. What this means for man in charge of the peace, Jim Hopper (David Harbour) remains to be seen.

The challenge for the Duffer brothers is to maintain their rather impressive track record of the first two seasons. As one of the most popular original series on Netflix, we’re sure that the streaming service’s bosses certainly hope that they can.

As to when to expect the third series of Stranger Things, it is going live globally on the 4^th of July, only on Netflix.
