Following the announcement that VS Gaming has acquired the rights to host a FIFA eWorld Cup Qualifier in 2018, the tickets for the tournament will officially be on sale through Computicket as of 12 April 2018.

The VS Gaming Cup is an accredited official EA Sports FIFA 18 Global Series qualifier and will see 1 024 players competing on both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms for a combined prize pool of over R1.5 million. The tournament will take place on 5 and 6 May 2018 at Montecasino.

The ticket prices are as follows:

  • One day ticket – R150
  • Weekend pass ticket – R210

As a player you need to purchase a ticket to enter the venue but entry into the tournament is free of charge. Upon purchase you will need to specify which platform (Xbox or Playstation) you will be competing on as there is a limited number of player tickets available.

“There will be activities and events for the whole family over the weekend so, even if you are not playing in the tournament you can still bring the family to come and watch and enjoy the festivities,” says spokesperson for VS Gaming, Wanda Mkhize.

Esports enthusiasts who would like to compete in this tournament and become a part of the VS Gaming community can register on www.vsgaming.co.za.
