Official Lenovo commercial distributor for SMB products, Drive Control Corporation (DCC) has announced the immediate availability of the Lenovo ThinkPad P15v Gen 1 to its South African and SADC channel partners.

The 15.6-inch ThinkPad P15v Gen 1 is a competitively priced workstation with advanced connectivity features such as WiFi 6 and optional 4G WWAN, ensuring users stay connected when on the move.

“Our local channel partners will find that the Lenovo ThinkPad P15v Gen 1 ticks all the boxes, offering great value without compromising on high-end specifications and excellent build quality,” says Samantha Cook, Lenovo Computing Product Specialist at DCC.

The ThinkPad packs quite a punch with a configuration choice of 6-core Intel Xeon W-Class processors or 8-core Core i7 processors.  The laptop also features fast M.2 SSD storage and up to 64GB of DDR4 memory and comes with a Performance Mode that allows it to deliver maximum performance for handling heavy workloads.

The ThinkPad is also available with a 4K IPS Dolby Vision HDR display which coupled with NVIDIA Quadro P620 GPU enables it to deliver a brilliant visual workspace and exceptional performance for a range of professional workflow.

Moreover, the ThinkPad is built to the highest engineering standards which means it stays cool and quiet while maintaining the power needed for heavy workloads.

Additional Lenovo ThinkPad P15v Gen 1 features include:

  • Onboard ThunderBolt 3 connector enables high-speed transfer of large design files;
  • Certified or recommended for use with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects; and
  • Connects up to three additional displays for seamless multitasking.
