Tarsus on Demand, one of South Africa’s leading cloud vendors and hybrid cloud enablement partners, is partnering with tier 1 Internet and telephony provider, BitCo, to offer its resellers the ability to resell affordable voice and data services to their clients.

This new relationship means that resellers working with Tarsus on Demand can offer their customers a complete connectivity-to-cloud solution from a single point of contact.

BitCo is a national licensed operator that owns and maintains a national private Metro ethernet based fibre and wireless last-mile network. In addition to offering high-speed wireless and uncapped fibre data connectivity, it also offers high-quality voice-over-IP and PBX solutions to business customers of all sizes.

Says Tarsus on Demand CEO Jonathan Kropf: “To take advantage of the full power of the cloud, end-user organisations need fast, robust and reliable Internet connectivity. By partnering with BitCo, we enable our resellers to add connectivity to their product portfolio as part of a complete business solution that eases their customers’ transition to the cloud. The BitCo partnership is a great addition to our portfolio and will help our channel partners to grow their businesses.”

Working together, Tarsus on Demand and BitCo will help resellers to leverage BitCo’s carrier-grade network to add new revenue streams to their business without increasing their overheads. They will also back the channel with comprehensive sales and marketing support as well as regular training on BitCo’s products and services.

Says Michael Colin, sales director at BitCo: “Partnering with Tarsus on Demand will enable us to reach a new reseller channel. We aim to provide the Tarsus channel with all the benefits of a carrier grade network so that they can easily enter the telecom market and take advantage of the rapidly growing demand for high-speed connectivity.”
