Last month pics and info were leaked of forthcoming BlackBerry smartphones on the way from Research In Motion (RIM). One of these was the reported Bold (aka Dakota/ Montana) replacement, with more photos now appearing on N4BB.com, with Canadian smartphone boasting a sporty carbon fiber look.

RIM’s forthcoming Bold has a back cover that boasts an integrated carbon fibre weave design. This new triple-input-device (touch-screen, QWERTY keyboard and optical trackpad) runs on BlackBerry OS 6.1 and features a 2.8" VGA (640 x 480) touch-enabled display, which is reportedly slicker to use than the Torch 9800’s.

According to N4BB the phone has a decent 6.5 GB of internal flash storage space as well as 512 MB of RAM. Also on-board is a five megapixel camera (although the current Bold 9780 also uses a five MP snapper), a magnetometer, accelerometer as well as a proximity sensor and integrated near field communication (NFC).
