Sony has announced the new Walkman NWZ-E350 Series Video MP3 players. The range sports enhanced sound quality thanks to Sony’s ‘Clear Audio’ technologies which provides clear, deep sound without distortion.
 
The Walkman NWZ-E350 Series reportedly supports up to 50 hours of audio playback (MP3 files at 128 kbps) and ten hours of video playback (WMV at 384 kbps). Sony also added Content Transfer Software, enabling users to transfer their music and video files (not including DRM files) from their PC or iTunes library. 
 
The players will feature Sony’s SenseMe technology and will also make use of a new user interface (UI) integrating features such as ‘Album Scroll’ and ‘Scene Scroll’.
 
Supported audio formats for the new player include MP3, WMA (DRM), AAC (non-DRM) and linear PCM, with the supported video format being WMV (DRM). The Sony E Series Walkman will be available next month in the US for about $70 (approx. R510) for a 4 GB model (model NWZ-E353), and $80 (around R583) for an 8 GB version (model NWZ-E354). 
 
Local pricing and availability has yet to be announced.
