Description
The N900 is anything but your typical Nokia. It runs on a Linux OS, is powered by some heavy duty hardware and is a little rough around the edges. It's a geek's delight. Read our complete Nokia N900 review.

The Tech Breakdown

The Good
The Bad
The Conclusion

Multi-tasking and browsing are incredible on the N900.
It feels like a concept product- a little rough around the edges.
The platform is flexible and designed for touch. We love it, but a little refinement is in order.

 Hi Reuben,

All we've heard is that the phone will be available in Q2 2010. As soon as we hear more news we'll let you know.

I emailed Nokia asking the same question and got the following answer:

"With regard to your enquiry, please be informed that the Nokia N900 will be arriving in the South African market in the 18th Week of 2010. To translate it in normal date, this will be the last week of April 2010. The phone will then be available as direct purchase or via contract."

I cant wait!

Well it is now June and neither MTN nor Vodacom are offering the N900. MTN advised me today that they will not be offering the N900. Vodacom cannot say whether they will or not.
