After a successful trial month, ASUS has launched a local ecommerce offering in South Africa. The full-service online store gives South Africans access to some of ASUS’ top products, including devices from its commercial (Expertbook), consumer (Zenbook, Vivobook, Studiobook) and gaming (ROG) ranges, even with a few specials thrown in for good measure.

As far as pricing is concerned, the local online store’s pricing aligns with other re- and e-tailers and is standard retail price across the range.

There’s free delivery for orders over R450, with standard delivery getting the product to your door in 2-3 business days, while next-day delivery is available at an additional cost nationwide, including for outlying areas.

Moreover, the payment method on the online store accepts debit- and credit cards, and is securely protected through PayFast. Included are a 14-day return-policy, as well as a full 3-year pick-up and return policy to all store customers. For those who don’t have enough cash up front, the ASUS store features monthly credit options serviced by registered credit provider Mobicred.

According to the company, during its soft launch phase, the platform managed to attract over 3000 sign-ups from eager local techies. The brand plans to grow this list with upcoming special offers and vouchers.
