All roads lead to Loftus with the new Vodacom Bulls PUMA kit

It was easy to miss during the hype of playing the All Blacks last Saturday, but the Vodacom Bulls were sporting their new 2026/2027 kit. Once again made by PUMA, the All Roads Lead To Loftus kit for the 2026/27 season pays tribute to the Bulls’ home stadium – Loftus Versfeld.
PUMA notes the home kit design is inspired by Loftus Versfeld being more than just a stadium – supporters call it home. The kit celebrates the deep connection between the Vodacom Bulls, their loyal supporters, their city and their iconic fortress. Regardless of where the season takes the team and its fans, every journey ultimately leads back home, to Loftus.
The 2026 Home jersey features a gradient design transitioning from deep navy at the shoulders into the signature Loftus blue across the torso. A map graphic spans the chest and back, illustrating the city streets converging on Loftus Versfeld – with the Bulls badge signifying the stadium. Each line represents the journey of supporters from across South Africa and beyond, united by their shared destination: Loftus.

“The jersey design honours Loftus as the ultimate destination - the place where every tackle, every try, and every cheer begins and ends,” said Brett Bellinger, PUMA SA Marketing Director.
Vodacom Bulls CEO Edgar Rathbone said: “Loftus Versfeld is more than our home ground, it is the heartbeat of the Vodacom Bulls. This new kit captures the pride, passion and sense of belonging that connects our players, our supporters and our city, and it reflects the journey we all share back to Loftus every season.”
If you are interested, here are the technical specifications of the kit:
- Moisture Management: The fabric wicks sweat away from the body to keep players dry and comfortable.
- Durability: Rugby is a tough sport, so the jersey needs to withstand constant wear and tear. Reinforced stitching and high-quality, abrasion-resistant materials are used for extra strength and durability.
- Flexibility and Stretch: The blend of poly and spandex provides a snug, comfortable fit that moves with the body. Due to the stretch fabric and a well-designed fit the jersey allow players to move freely and make tackles without restriction.
- Improved Handling: The additional grip dot texture on the jersey can offer better control when the player secures the ball against their body. This helps to maintain possession during tackles or when making quick movements.
The supporters kit is always different to what's available to players, so don’t expect the grip dot texture when buying your jersey for the season.

With the home kit now available, Bulls fans will be waiting to see what the away kit looks like, also if a new retro jersey is in the pipeline, this time perhaps with a traditional blue collar and not white as the previous version. .
The Home jersey will be available on 15 August 2026 at PUMA.com, PUMA retail stores, SportSA, Studio 88, Takealot, Totalsports, and Sportsmans Warehouse.
It comes with a recommended retail price of R1099 (adult), and R999 (junior sizes).
