If you've been hankering for a return to the world of Skyrim, then you're likely aware that Bethesda is readying a Special Edition of The Elder Scrolls V for cross-platform release on 28 October. To mark the occasion a new trailer has been released, which is a little out of the norm for most gaming videos, with Bethesda enrolled the skills of animator Lee Hardcastle to create a claymation video for #SkyrimMemories.

In the video, our humble gamer gets transported from his living room into the world of Skyrim, battling all manner of beast. Named Brian, the in-video protagonist gets carried away after defeating the game's mythical dragon and draws the unwelcome attention of locals. Luckily, Brian has plenty of ‘social skills’ to deal with the problem, which mainly consists of visiting the tavern for some refreshing beverages.

Light hearted, this video might not encompass all the action that Skyrim has to offer, but it's a nice change of pace. If you're a fan of claymation or indeed The Elder Scrolls franchise, hit play on the video below.
