2012's Dishonored (review) was a truly great game. It married storyline and gameplay in a way that many first-person RPGs have failed to do in the past. Having nabbed several Game of the Year awards in its time, Dishonored 2 certainly has its work cut out.

We first saw a trailer for the game emerge at Bethesda's E3 presentation last year, and since then drips and drabs of information has been forthcoming from the developer. Now, a release date has been confirmed, as Dishonored is scheduled to debut on PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC on 11 November worldwide.

While November is still some distance away, Bethesda, along with Arkane Studios will be detailing some of the gameplay elements at this year's E3 event in June. More specifically on 12 June, when the gameplay makes its worldwide premiere.

The event will be live streamed on Twitch and YouTube, starting at a bright and early 04:00 AM on the morning of the 12th. With two choices of protagonist to play this time round, it should interesting to see if Bethesda can actually improve on the original title.
