Forget about 2013's Jobs, starring Ashton Kutcher as Apple's head honcho, this year's Steve Jobs seems to be the biopic to watch. It carries some strong credentials in the form of Oscar winning director Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire, Shallow Grave), with the starring role going to one of our favourites, Michael Fassbender.

A first look trailer has now been released, but it might not offer as much as expected. We do however get a first look at Fassbender as Jobs (mostly onstage, where many of us are used to seeing him deliver yet another awesome keynote), Seth Rogan as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, and Kate Winslet starring as Joanna Hoffman (part of the team that worked on the first Macintosh).

Expect some more in-depth trailers to come along as the movie's 9 October release date (in US) creeps closer. Click play to see how closely Fassbender resembles Jobs.
