Dragon Age: Inquisition (review) fans, get ready to rejoice. Something new, and perhaps more tantalising, free, is coming your way. The game’s developer, BioWare, has confirmed that fans can look forward to two pieces of downloadable content (DLC) hitting their console of choice (so long as they are the PS4, PS3, Xbox One or Xbox 360) as well as on PC in the days ahead.

The Black Emporium will add an extensive shopfront to go wild in, and splurge your ingame currency on the likes of shiny new weapons, crafting materials or rare items. Still within this “premiere shopping destination” according to BioWare, players will also be able to use the Mirror of Transformation to change their facial features without of course having to undergo the rigors of crafting a new character from scratch, or trying to find a plastic surgeon in the medieval setting (the very definition of risk).

The second piece of DLC to drop, will cater to multiplayer gamers and fantasy geeks who just love dragons. The Dragonslayer DLC offers the means to craft a Dragon’s Call (think of it like a dog whistle, only for dragons, and considerably more dangerous). In case that is not even to whet your appetite, the company also reassured that the Jaws of Hakkon DLC will finally also be made available to non-Xbox One and PC players, with it leaving its exclusive lock-in on the 26th of May.
