This coming Sunday, 25 February, is Day Zero of Mobile World Congress 2018, where a number of smartphone makers will unveil their new devices for the year. One of these manufacturers will be LG, with an updated version of the V30 expected. While all eyes will be on the Barcelona-held events, reports suggest LG will have another flagship phone in tow come June.

It's unclear at this stage if the device will be a follow up to the G6, which debuted at MWC 17, but the phone is codenamed Judy and was 'discovered' by VentureBeat. As expected, it's serial leaker Evan Blass who is breaking the news, which normally means that it is spot on given his track record.

Along with the codename, Blass revealed some of the specifications that this mystery flagship will be sporting. To that end, the phone is said to house Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 845 chipset, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of onboard storage. Added to this is a rumoured MCLD+ 6.1" display in LG's new FullView (18:9) aspect ratio, as well as touting HDR support. Other aspects of note are a dual 16 MP cameras on the rear, with f/1.6 apertures.

If this rumoured device turns out to be true, flagship fiends may want to hold off on getting the LG V30 S (unofficial name), and wait for the company's June-slated smartphone.
