Last week a bug crash was reported by several iPhone users. The issue surrounded sending a specific Telugu (Indian language) character in messaging apps, that not only caused the applications to stop working, but in some cases also forced the device to shut down. Aware of the issue, Apple has since addressed this in a recent update with iOS 11.2.6.

True to their word, Apple promised that a fix would be rolled to users before the company released the larger 11.3 iteration of its mobile operating system. The update also fixes the crashing issue on all beta versions of macOS, tvOS and watchOS, according to Apple.

As The Verge reports, this most recent event marks the third time that Apple has had to address a bug in iOS 11. With rumours suggesting that the company will be focusing on core elements instead of superficial ones for its next version of iOS, hopefully 12 proves more stable than its predecessor.
