Ever since Lara Croft: Rise of the Tomb Raider was announced as an Xbox-exclusive title by Microsoft at last year's E3, details of the game have been sparse to say the least. Now a new trailer for the game has been released, and although it does not offer up much in terms of definitive details, it does hint as a possible return to Lady Croft's relic hunting anthropological roots.

Instead of immense ancient ruins hidden by dense jungle, Lara will be heading to the frozen tundras, which means battling the elements will play a bigger role in Rise of the Tomb Raider's gameplay that other titles in the series. It also feels like an origin story, if the recent game trailer is anything to go by, which seems slightly odd considering the series received a pretty solid reboot with 2013's Tomb Raider.

Nevertheless, we're hoping that this new game will pick up where the last title left off, in terms of gaming quality, and provide a more immersive tomb raiding experience. If you're a big Tomb Raider fan, or just a RPG gaming junkie, pencil in June 15th on the diary, as that's when Xbox will be releasing even more details about Rise of the Tomb Raider at E3, and hopefully some in-game footage as well.

Till then, check out the new trailer, "Aim Greater" below.
