Earlier this week, Bethesda announced that sign-up had begun for its Quake Champions closed beta, also promising reveals of new arenas, champions and weapons in the weeks to come. Now a new champion has been unveiled in the form of Nyx, a Fathom Agent who should be the perfect option for gamers that want to do things at pace.

Nyx is one of the fastest champions in the latest Quake, but she is middling on the armour and firepower stakes. As such, if you prefer to bulldoze your way through opposition, Nyx is not the right choice. Instead, she is better for running and gunning types of gamers.
