There's a new wearable being developed for people that are interested in looking cool while taking a phone call. Called the ORII and currently being funded on Kickstarter, this wearable ring uses "bone conduction" technology to allow users to answer phone calls without ever having to take their smartphone out from their pockets.

Along with facilitating phone calls by placing the ORII ring-wearing finger to one's ear, this wearable can also be used to send messages, set reminders and reportedly works with the likes of Siri and Google Assistant, according to the developer.

The ORII is also said to be splash-proof, although laps in the pool is ill-advised. Furthermore it's constructed from scratch-resistant aluminium and is being made in three different colour options - white, silver and grey.

With ORII having already surpassed its $30 000 funding goal with 23 days to go (as of writing), it seems like this wearable has the green light for manufacture. As far as pledges go, paying $129 will get you an original ORII by February 2018, with $399 granting you beta access too and an early delivery of November 2017.
