To say we're fans of Attack on Titan would be an understatement, which is why we were very intrigued to hear that developers Omega Force and Koei Tecmo (Dynasty Warriors, Toukiden) are working on PlayStation-exclusive Attack on Titan game. For now the details still remain a bit murky, but Koei Tecmo has confirmed the news at Gamescom 2015, currently underway in Cologne, Germany.

Koei Tecmo president Hisashi Koinuma stated, "I am very happy to reveal that we have started developing a new action game based on the phenomenally successful Attack on Titan." Koinuma added, "having evolved from a manga/anime series to an internationally recognised brand, we were enchanted by the opportunity to create our own take on humanity's last stand against these overwhelmingly powerful beings, the Titans".

Although the game's proposed 2016 release date is still quite far off, Koinuma noted that his team at Koei Tecmo has already begun working frantically with those at Omega Force on the game, which is expected to arrive on PS4, PS3 and PS Vita. Now, feast your eyes on this teaser trailer, after the break, to get an idea of what the game will look like.
