The PlayStation Classic seems like a nice little Xmas present if you longingly remember the 90s playing Ridge Racer on your original PlayStation. Shipping with two controllers (no analogue sticks present), an HDMI cable to connect to a screen, and powered by USB, the Classic is also 45% smaller than the 1994 original.

It comes preinstalled with 20 titles, but which ones were not known up until recently. Sony has now released the full list of titles through a blog post, having previously only noted five (Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3, and Wild Arms).

The list, at least for the US, includes:

  • Battle Arena Toshinden
  • Cool Boarders 2
  • Destruction Derby
  • Final Fantasy VII
  • Grand Theft Auto
  • Intelligent Qube
  • Jumping Flash
  • Metal Gear Solid
  • Mr Driller
  • Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee
  • Rayman
  • Resident Evil Director’s Cut
  • Revelations: Persona
  • Ridge Racer Type 4
  • Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
  • Syphon Filter
  • Tekken 3
  • Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six
  • Twisted Metal
  • Wild Arms

However, on the PlayStation Classic’s Wikipedia page, it’s noted that games might differ per region, and that the PAL region (under which SA usually falls) will feature the following:

  • Cool Boarders 2
  • Destruction Derby
  • Grand Theft Auto
  • Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee
  • Rayman
  • Syphon Filter
  • Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six
  • Twisted Metal

Whether or not more games will be added to the region remains to be seen.

At this stage the PlayStation Classic is available for pre-order, with the console set to be launched in the US for $99 on 3 December 2018.
