Xbox did not disappoint at last night’s Gamescom media briefing, showcasing a plethora of upcoming games. With that in mind, we've put together the Top 5 trailers you may have missed.

Rainbow Six Siege

The Tom Clancy gaming franchise shows no signs of shrinking anytime soon, and Rainbow Six Siege is evidence of that. This new title will see gamers pick one of several international tactical reaction units. Seeing as how Gamescom is happening in Cologne, the trailer below showcases the German team, who clearly take no prisoners.

We Happy Few

If anyone could please explain the plot of We Happy Few, do so now. To us, the game seems like Alice in Wonderland meets Jonestown. In fact, it appears as if the gamer's character is under threat at every turn, not to mention those creepy white masks. We Happy Few looks so weird, it leaves us wanting more .

Elite: Dangerous

Elite: Dangerous harks back to the days when outer space games involved FPS elements in a very competitive environment. While it isn't on the same gaming level as No Man's Sky, it does seem like a great way to relieve your stress and shoot some beings.

Ark: Survival Evolved

According to Ark: Survival Evolved's developers Instinct Games, you begin the game "naked, stranded and starving on a mysterious island." Need we say more? Okay then, the game is played from a first-person perspective and mashes together modern day weaponry and prehistoric animals into one weird and wonderful looking title.

ID@Xbox

The last trailer comes courtesy of Xbox themselves, and more specifically its Independent Gaming division - ID@Xbox. The team at ID@Xbox are hard at work bringing indie titles to the fore on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. As such, click on the video below, and mentally bookmark a few games you'd like to play, all of which are arriving in coming months.
