Sports clothing maker Puma will be launching the Puma Phone in South Africa tomorrow, which will be made available locally through Vodacom.

The Puma Phone sports a 2.8" QVGA TFT touch-screen, GPS tracker and stopwatch, video calling as well as Bluetooth photo sharing. It also boasts a spin and scratch music player and integrated radio. Users will also be able to download multimedia content from puma.com, as well as Puma applications and access Puma products via mCommerce services.

This phone also features a 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash and six time digital zoom, a pedometer and internet browsing with WAP Push. There is also a solar panel mounted on the back of the phone and charging the mobile for an hour in the sun will apparently give it enough juice for you to enjoy up to two hours of music playback.

It will be available at participating Vodacom outlets for a recommended retail price of R 3 099. For more info visit the Puma Phone website.
