The G12 is, as can be expected, the best incarnation of Canon's powerful G-series yet.
PROS
Superb handling, increased functionality, excellent image quality.
CONS
No autofocus in movie mode, optical viewfinder disappointing.
VERDICT
Is there a better compact available than the G12? The short answer is no.
