Logitech Professional Presenter R800

Small, black and ready for performance, the Logitech Professional Presenter R800 offers a variety of features which makes delivering presentations straightforward and professional. Apart from the customary functions, like moving back and forth between slides, the R800 has a few aces up its sleeve.

Under its simple cover, the R800 is packed with everything a speaker needs: an easy-to-set timer, a rather large 1 x ½" LCD display for easy referencing and a green laser pointer. It’s also very comfortable in-hand, with a sturdy but shapely case.

Another of its convenient features is a vibrating alarm which draws your attention to the amount of time remaining while presenting. It vibrates on five and two minutes before time is up and again when your time is up. If you exceed your time it starts counting up the amount of time you go over your limit.

The R800 also allows you sufficient room for movement as it can operate up to 30 m from the PC it’s paired with. You can even monitor your signal strength via a reception-level indicator on its LCD display.

The R800 is a serious presentation tool that can be used for both large and small presentations. It is also user-friendly enough for presentation novices to pick-up and master in a matter of minutes. The slender presenter is rather pricey though at R899.
