Samsung makes the mobile power of Android available to even more users via its budget-friendly Galaxy Pocket smartphone. But is it any good?
PROS
Priced below R1000; really portable dimensions; 800 MHz CPU on budget device; Android Gingerbread as mobile OS; and 3 GB worth of storage space.
CONS
Low-res touchscreen; other mobile phone users won't turn green with smartphone design envy; camera is not the best and QVGA video recording ability.
VERDICT
If the high price of smartphones has prevented you from making the switch from feature phones, than the Samsung Galaxy Pocket will enable you to pocket a much better device.
