If you are a gamer, you know how it goes in 2018. First you pay for the pre-order, if you want a few special, exclusive items, before a game launches. Then you pay for the main game when it does launch. And then, after that, you pay yet again for the post game content, or DLC.

Bioware’s forthcoming Anthem though, appears to being doing something a little different, with the announcement that its post-game content will be free.

This is according to GameRant, with BioWare apparently making the announcement at PAX. While the announcement is welcome, it’s not necessarily a surprise – BioWare and its publisher EA has been very forthright about the fact that its multiplayer action-RPG game will not have loot boxes, the subject of which has proved to be most controversial this year.

Not enough good news for this Monday? Then take a peek at the latest trailer for the game for a good pick me up.
