Now it's the turn of PC gamers, with Sledgehammer Games announcing an impending beta scheduled from 29 September to 2 October via Steam. The beta will be available to those who have pre-ordered the latest COD title, and promises to allow gamers to test out the same elements as the console version.

Along with the announcement, Sledgehammer has revealed the recommended minimum PC specifications required for the beta. The specs are as follows:

OS: Windows 7 64-Bit or later
CPU: Intel Core i3 3225 or equivalent
RAM: 8 GB RAM
HDD: 25 GB HD space
Video: Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 @ 2 GB / AMD Radeon HD 7850 @ 2GB or better
DirectX: Version 11.0 compatible video card or equivalent
