Sony Playstation’s showing at the Paris Games Week was nothing short of a tour de force. Besides its focus on virtual reality, which proved to deliver lots to be excited about, there were also a few known, but very anticipated titles that we were itching to see more of.

More particularly, two of these were Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and of course, Ratchet and Clank. The latest trailer for the former focused on its multiplayer, with Drake zipping around the map using his new grappling hook, Elena deploying health kits and Chloe deploying explosives and Sully, well, being Sully. The video shows what looks like fast, fluid, furious and another word that begins with f, fun. Common to all the characters is that each seem to deploy one-liner quips as readily as they dispel bullets, and maps that look too alluring not to appreciate.

Incidentally, if you picked up the excellent Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection (review), then it’s worth remembering that you already have early access to the multiplayer beta, which opens on 4 December.

The latest gameplay trailer for Ratchet and Clank, is particularly welcome considering the impending movie was recently given its own new trailer, is its polar opposite. This one concentrated on single player and features several familiar staples that we have coveted in the series from  Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction (still our favourite to date), such as tremendously distinctive environments, grind rails and plenty to shoot while strafing.

Yes, early next year is looking like a fine time to clear the calendar and get stuck in. Take a look at the trailers below to see what you can look forward to.
